Genesee Apartments welcomes your furry companions to our pet-friendly community in Bloomington's Penn American District. Our spacious apartment and townhome layouts provide plenty of room for you and your pets to thrive, while nearby walking trails, parks, and green spaces offer endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. Life is better here for both you and your pets.

Our Pet Policy

We’re proud to be a pet-friendly community at Genesee Apartments! We're committed to creating a pet-friendly community that works for everyone. Please review our pet policy:

  • Cats and dogs are welcome in all residences.
  • Dogs - 50lb max weight limit.
  • Maximum of two animals per home allowed.
  • $250 pet deposit / $250 (non-refundable) pet approval fee.
  • Monthly pet rent of $40 for both cats and dogs.
  • Poo Prints is used at Genesee for our dog owners.
  • This community participates in PetScreening 

 

Breed restrictions include: Pit Bull Terriers, Doberman Pinschers, Akitas, American Staffordshire Terriers, German Shepherds, Dogo Argentino, Rottweilers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Perro de Presa Canario, and Cane Corso.
